S3 Web Technologies Voted Member of the Standards Committee on
Dental Informatics

In September 2002, S3 Web Technologies, LLC, was admitted as a full
member to the ANSI-accredited Standards Committee on Dental Informatics
(SCDI). The committee, administered by the American Dental Association,
is active in setting standards for computer hardware and software in dentistry.
To date, the SCDI has published several standards and technical reports
in areas such as computer-based oral health records, educational software
design, practice management systems, infection control and computer systems,
and communication and storage of digital images.
