In 1999, the American Student Dental Association retained S3 Web Technologies to assist in the computerization of test booklets to help students prepare for Parts I and II of the National Dental Board examinations.
S3 developed detailed requirements for the software and prepared the Request for Proposals for issue to over 30 companies in the multimedia market. It conducted an in-depth analysis of the submitted proposals and worked with the successful bidder on digitization of exam materials and quality assurance of the final product.
